Beautiful shots, Bob! I have never gotten the chance to photograph fireworks! You did a great job. Happy 2013 to you!
thank you Lori, you'll have to give it a try and great practice for lightning shots. Happy New Year to you too, it's going to be the best ever.

These look great, brother Bob. I've tried this a couple of times but didn't really pull it off. I'm tipping my hat to you as I type this (I have a secret third arm).

Jer
thanks buddy, I wonder how these would look if you converted them to b/w. 3 arms, that would be a big help on a road course with the Boxster.

thanks CC, we saw some great fireworks on TV from Australia, you know how to celebrate down there.
Yeah the fireworks are great in Sydney, but the crowd is ridiculous...some people even camp the night before new years eve to get a good spot. You really have to be dedicated lol.

Anyway, nice shots. I really like the red stars on the second one!

Since I live in Sydney, I'm not sure how it goes in other countries. But NYE here is always extremely crowded and completely different to the normal lay-back quiet Australian city. It's like the whole city changed just for the last day of the year!
