Race Horse Falls

Visited a remote waterfall today. It took me several hours to find it. Unfortunately, the river was too deep and cold to cross. The best view of this four steps waterfall is from the other bank. Will try again in the summer/fall. The water for this fall came from Mt. Baker. It will eventually empty into the larger Nooksack river.

Very nice! You got the water right! I struggled with that this Fall and know it's not easy to do! Too blurry, or not soft enough, or too harsh as the DR goes wild due to slow shuttle speeds, or too something.....your's looks nice! Well done!

Front the title I though I was going see a race fall. Pleasantly surprised with a wonderful series of a water fall.

I kept the iso at 80, used various ND filters and adjusted the f-stops until I got the image I wanted. Good luck on your next waterfall.

This is gorgeous and I love the perspective. I can see crossing the river will give you a whole new look at the falls. Very very nice shutter speed effect and I really enjoyed the first image with the boulders in the foreground.

Excellent work. I haven't done any waterfalls for some time your photos make me want to get back into them. Good luck on your next visit.
