Blue-banded Bee
Lens: Sigma 28-90/3.5-5.6 Camera: K10D Photo Location: Australia ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F11

I was having a bit of a play, just for fun, with a lens I had written off as junk.

It seems it might not be quite as bad as I thought! This is a 100% crop, minimal PP (darktable defaults).

The bee is Amegilla cingulata (blue-banded bee), an Australian native.
