IC 434 Region in Orion's Belt

Here's my first attempt at the famous Horsehead Nebula region.

Oops I meant to type Orion 8". Guess it didn't like me using ". Either way here's a image of it with the camera attached to it when I took the above image. I was like wearing 4-5 layers while imaging

Thanks for adding the telescope pic. Your post says that the exposure was over 6 seconds. How long did you actually leave the shutter open? Also, what model is that Orion?

It ended up being a total of about 77 minutes total from start to finish. I actually made a post with all the details and links to all the equipment used as I often get asked what kind I'm using.
