A Walk in Bramhall Park Part 2
Posted By: channeler, 02-19-2008, 11:36 AM

There are a couple of small lakes in the Park which were created by diverting a local stream.

This is as close as I'm going to get to Canada for a while. Our Immigration application has now reached the point where we can expect an answer within a few months or so and our house is on the market. These Canada Geese have made one of the lakes home along with some ducks and other waterfowl. 55mm, 1/160th, F8, ISO 200

Nice shots Paul, especially number one. Good luck with the application I hope that you want have to wait too long for an answer,

Take care, Heinrich

Thanks Heinrich, we've been told we should have a decision within 3 to 5 months. So it's coming up to crunch time now.

Thanks Tran, I'll experiment with BW in PP when I have a little time.

Looks like a great place to get close to waterfowl as well as take advantage of reflections.
My favorite is the last shot. This one would make an interesting 4 seasons compo.

Thanks Clarence. Yes you're right there is plenty of scope wondering around the Park; architecture, woodland, open areas, water features, birds and if you're lucky small mammals as well. I must try to do some 4 seasons images in the future.
