New Year Rose
Lens: 50mm Camera: Kx Photo Location: Indio, CA

The roses are back in bloom at our campground, temps have been in the high 60's F and they appear to like the warmth

thank you EM, this rose was the only one growing on the plant, they cut it back almost to the ground, so I guess all the power went to the single rose.

I swear I saw and commented on this shot already (maybe over on CE?). Anyway - well done - dig the isolation for the disembodied flower.

Bob that is one fine rose and I love your treatment. With you and Em it makes me jealous, what with the heat just destroying our roses at the moment.

We're good here, other than the heat. 30 degrees C at 8am. More the southern states and it is a bit of a worry at the moment for them.

Some good news, a tiny yellow rose just coming out this morning so when I get it processed I'll share.

Seeing temps in celsius never seem hot to me, now if they were in Fahrenheit, that would be hot.
