I can almost smell them, Bob! Teeny flowers but very fragrant!

Reminds me of the little guys I see around here in the spring - interesting use of selective focus.

thanks for looking Julie, I was surprised there weren't a lot of bees around, guess it is getting to chilly at night.

thanks bud, I shot it with a macro lens at f/3.5 looking for the effect. I think they are called alyssums.

It is pretty the way they set up the gardens, these run right up to the roses.

Thanks bud, lots of sun followers down this way from Canada and they do love the pools and spas and enjoy a drink or two.

I'll take a few more pics there Tess, a cold-snap has come into our desert, temps have dropped dramatically into the high 50's. Not sure if I should head further south into Arizona or wait this deep freeze out for a couple of days.

Yep, "sweet allysum" is their name. Teeny-tiny, very fragrant.
