Merced River
Lens: Pentax 17-70 mm f/4 Camera: Pentax K-7

A stretch of the Merced River, here little more than a creek, just below Vernal Falls in Yosemite.

The PP does give this shot character. There are a number of elements to the shot also, which made me look at it for sometime to fully appreciate it.

Thanks aussietrev. The thing that intrigues me about this shot is that the flow over the rock at center is seemingly frozen, or close to it, while the flow to its right is not at all. Not sure why that is.

Do like the composition, but the saturation is too high for me. Did you boost it that way on purpose?

Thanks.... as for the composition, yes, that's what appealed to me the most. The green in the creek in the original picture seemed too weak compared to what I remember the actual color was at the scene. Although looking again I don't like what the boost did to the tree trunks
