Hi all, it has been a while since I`ve posted something here.
For the last month I`ve been on a working trip to Egypte. While it`s not my favorite country (noisy, polluted and very crowded), it has great light during sunset and sunrise.
This was shot in the port of Alexandria where I was working on a ship in a drydock. I captured this from the afterdeck so I had a fairly high PoV. Because the drydock was part of a major navalbase I only brought my K20d and sigma 17-70 (damagecontrol in case of seizure) instead of my K5.
Because of shooting the K5 for over 1,5 year now, I really had to get reaquainted with the K20d but, once familiar again, it was like meeting an old friend. It still is a great camera. Can`t help but wonder how this shot would have turned out with the dynamic range of the K5. Foolish, I know but allways trying to improve a shot. The dynamic range was a little too much for the K20d but nevertheless it was one of the most gorgeous sunset I`d captured there.
Enjoy and let me know what you think
