Way cool! Reminded me that we've been thinking about a day trip into Everglades National Park...need to do it soon!

Sunset - gorgeous. Gator and leaf - nice. But if I had that monochrome gator, I'd print him and frame him for all to see

Believe it or not, this was the perfect location to set up a shot. It was a fishing dock/Kayak Ramp.

Doh!!!!

I just realized that this was NOT Lake Louisa, but Dixie Lake, which is part of Lake Louisa State Park.

Here are the GPS coordinates of the shot.

That's an awesome sunset.... and I am so glad I live where the water doesn't have creatures waiting to bite my limbs off lurking just off shore.

Oh yes...you DO NOT want to swim in this location!!!
Every body of water in Florida contains something that will bite you.
Because some fools feed the Gators here *which is illegal* they are less fearful.

Someone was arrested a few months back because of it.

Gators can't disassociate people *giving them food* from the *food itself*. That association seems to be beyond a Gator's cognitive intelligence, as it requires a higher brain function. They just start seeing people as *the food* when they are fed.
