from our travels to Sutherlin Oregon, fall was in the air and we were able to enjoy the changing colors of the leaves on the Umpqua River

I just love the autumn colours, okay we call it autumn here. We don't get much of an autumn here, it is winter then suddenly it's summer. We feel ripped off somethimes, so seeing your shots makes one jealous. Nice examples.

Beautiful location and images. Is that a fly fishing guide boat in the first one? The Umpqua is a popular location for fly fishing.

Regards

Aaahhhh, autumn - I have to say I sure miss these colors from my decades living "up north." I don't miss, however, the stuff that follows autumn.

thanks Trev, you must live in some type of a desert terrain? Our areas are the same way, you don't see much of a change in Joshua trees, greasewoods and cactus. You do notice the cold temperatures though that come in.

Yes, they have guides on both the North and South Umpqua rivers. There is also a fellow fishing from the bank.

Me too Charlie, it is a little more difficult for us folks out west to get the colors that are almost common back east.

I'm with you bud, when it gets so cold your bones hurt, it is time to move somewhere else. Maybe even to Texas.

No sub tropical, just what Queensland is like. Darwin in the top end has two seasons too. It's hot and wet in summer and hot and dry in winter, if it doesn't rain. Yeah Australia is a bit wierd.
