Lens: n/a Camera: spotmatic Photo Location: narragansett bay

I have been scanning old pictures and slides onto my computer 1500 so far.
Alot of the scanned photos needed to be cleaned up, by removing dust spots and lines that had
appeared over time.
Some of the pictures were taken of the tall ships that came to Narraganset Bay in 1976.
After cleaning them up, I played around in Picasa with them. I tried the soften affect on a couple
of the picture and was wondering what you think of the affect.

I like the soften effect a lot, even on new pictures. But especially older ones likes this, it's a good way to hide the defects and make the shot more interesting. I like these pictures.

BTW I think the soften filter that comes with Pentax cameras is as good as any I've seen available on the market.

I like the softening effect, but also appreciate the originals. Nice job, either way.
