Post Your Eclipse shots here.

I will start. Next time (2010) I am getting a telescope thingy . Tried with the Sigma 70-200 played around with a bunch of differnt setting and failed pretty bad. Oh well, I bet many got much better. If you did post here. Here are mine.

cool shots, i just went out and looked at it, too damn cold to take the time to set up for some pics, lol, it looks really wild, kinda orange right now..

Believe it or not I was able to shoot it right outside my bedroom window!!! It's a good thing too 'cause it's a little nippy here tonight...

I got shots all the way up to full eclipse and then it clouded up, so I won't be able to get shots of the moon "un-eclipsing"... still I'm thankful for what I got!

Now this is where I really miss the Bigma. Taken with the Sigma 70-200 + 1.7 TC. Not as sharp as I wanted and cropped about 50%. The colour was good at least. I would have done a better job on the focus but it's -15C and a nice little breeze to freeze off the fingers. A viewfinder magnifier would sure help with this low light.

Nice, you got Saturn in the corner there. I tried that shot but Saturn came out squiggly. I need a sturdier tripod!!!

Dancel, was that an incamera double-exposure?

Here is my view, Sigma 135-400, resized down a touch to get the composition I wanted.

Right now the Salt Lake Valley is covered in smog- I can't even see the mountains, much less the moon! arrrrgh!

Here are the two best shots that I got. A lot of them came out blurry. So did these two.





I think the head on my tripod is slipping.
