Beautiful! Love the clarity of the eye.

These are the bluebirds I grew up with. The one's we have in Washington State are quite different. I'll try to capture a good image of one this spring.

Thanks very much. I know the jays you're talking about and at one time I used to think they were scrub jays. However, said they were something else and I'll be darned if I can remember what he said they were.

Stellars Jays. Very cool birds, but I get homesick for the Blue Jays of my youth, too. :-)

BINGO! That's the ones. I missed these guys when I lived in San Diego and in Reno.

Just saw one fly by my window, but by the time I was set up, he was gone. I'll keep an eye out.
