What is your favorite desktop picture?

Mine is:

Attachment 8692

Perhaps not the best shot considered by the professionals.
However, looking at this picture, I still have to think back at the scene we were in when this photo was made in Tanzania last year.
We watched them hunt, kill and eat a Thomson gazelle, you can still see the blood around their faces and their bellies are full. It was awesome.

This one. Taken last July, before I got the K10D. Why? Because I took it, my older son is the photogenic cowboy in the photo, and right now in Colorado, if it ain't brown, it's covered in snow.
The high country of Colorado is my favorite place on this big blue marble of ours.

This is on the way to the ghost town of Ruby, up Lincoln Gulch, near Independence Pass, the highest highway pass in Colorado. This is about 11,000ft (~3,700m). The stream is tainted reddish brown from mine tailings further upstream a mile or so.

This one has been my desktop for the last couple years. Interstate Bridge over Mississippi River. Hard to believe the river could be so calm as to get this kind of reflection.

Running the dual screen on my big computer and feel in love with this combo...

There used to be a third monitor but it kicked the bucket last summer...

Wishful thinking. I have had it up since the official announcement.

Here's what I've been using since May of last year. This was the first Luna Moth I'd seen in, at least, 30 years, I'd just picked up a Tamron 28-75 to go with my K10D, and I was blown away by the detail of the results on a 24" monitor... and I still am every day. It was a nice photography moment...

That's about the coolest desktop image I've seen, Gooshin. Almost makes your desktop seem really transparent. And makes my plain blue desktop seem downright boring.

I switch back and forth using images taken by Dave, a member from Wales.

I've been on a kick of changing my desktop every few weeks or so. This one that I'm currently using is just a quick copy I did of a 4X6 print of my daughter so the quality isn't that great. I wish I could find the original negative because I've always kinda liked this shot.
