Hi,

I was out on a walk yesterday enjoying Winter time here in Sweden, and as you can tell the sun actually came out at the end of the day.
I got a couple of ok shots of some Birds of prey that i think turned out ok - even though i would have liked to have had my Sigma 135-400 with me, but i chose the light one

I still think it's really hard to ID those birds, so if you can help with that i would appreciate it

They're beautiful - whatever they are.
I'd guess #1 is a Kestrel.
And what's happening in #2? Is that a pursuit or just a traffic jam?

Thanks for commenting

I got a Little help over on Flickr - the first one is a Common Kestrel and the second one is a Common Buzzard.
It was a pursuit - the Buzzard got pretty tired of the crow

Go Buzzard go!
Oh, how I wish I could chase away the crows that hang around my house. They never shut up!
