Fabulous. I wish I knew the trick of capturing reds without oversaturating them!

It's just getting the right balance between contrast and brightness Julie and the reds will come out right.

The one flower even a botanical ignoramus like me can name. I nice, unusual look at this flower - I didn't know they come in red. Nice job, EM.

Thanks Jer, I think they come in a few colours but are uncommon so rarely seen.

Hibiscus hybrids come in an utterly incredible range of color, but the really "fancy" ones are very fussy to grow. Even Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden here has had a lot of trouble maintaining a collection of them. They can be quite stunning, even if the flowers only last a day. You capture them extraordinarily well!

I promise to practice shooting red.
