Great shot Bob. A familiar sight for me, as you know . It's a perfect location for these things - the wind never stops. In summer it's like a blast furnace!
Paul, the Banning Pass is one of the few places that has blown our motorhome around, gets really bad as you know. They keep adding to the windmills, not sure if they are making much money from them, but they are a great tax writeoff. I noticed last time we came through Texas there were quite a few, but nothing like this mess.

you don't get as much wind up there Eddie, but I did notice them on our last trip north.

Love the composition and the image.

But it does have something odd about it, the colours seem way off (they make it look like you've merged 3 shots together from different times of day, and different locations). And it seems very noisy, almost like a very low res shot that's been stretched to a higher resolution.

Apart from that I love it.

It was edited to give a different feel using the incamera filters of the K5, believe it or not, that is the way I wanted it. Glad you took a look, thanks Bob

Now that's a fascinating photo, Bob - made me think of a heard of alien creatures grazing on some distant planet (yeah, I know - I need to get more rest).

It is quite alien to view these up close and in operation, I can't imagine what it would be like to be lost wandering through one of these farms and the noise will drive you to drink. Yeah "that's the ticket". blame the windmills after one too many. I think it might work though.
