I love the compo of the first shot. Takes a second glance to determine what is really going on there. If you want to mess with someone's mind, turn the photo vertical.

Very envious of your chance to photograph these actions. For me, I would have to drive at least 2 hours through congested traffic and series of police alcohol level checks.

I guess gold coast is designed for surfing photographers.

Yes, I am fortuneate...all shots taken within a 10 minute walk of home AND I have to pass the surf club bar to get home.

And of course being a strong supporter of the volunteer life saving movement, one just has to drop in for a beer.
