as per another thread.... here are some pictures from a 5 dollar Chinon 50mm f1.9

basicaly, one COULD have photography fun on a budget!

this is a picture of the floor... run through some lightroom sliders

sad friend, i think it was f1.9 but probably f2.8

I find getting great images out of cheap equipment to be some of the most fun I have in photography. Very nice job on these.

i overuse the "black" and "fill light" sliders, i start off by raising both to 100 and then backing off until i get the effects just right

this inadvertedly increases the strength of all the colours, particulary red and blue, at which point i de-saturate by 20-30 points and viola.
