A local meat Shop. I don't know why I discarded this photo earlier. Now I liked it more in the second look, though I feel a bit less DoF could have made it better. Let me know what do you think.

I think it's a good portrait and the DOF is fine. The background is sufficiently out of focus so as not to distract from the subject, but if you want to simulate less DOF you can use software like Topaz Focus to selectively blur parts of the picture outside an area of your choosing. In this case you could create an oval around the man's face and blur the rest if you wish.
