Giving the Bigma a break.
Lens: 50-300 Pentax Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma.

I didn't want the 50-300 Pentax to feel neglected so I took some shots of the birds on the feeders the other day. It was nice to see 3 downey woodpeckers feeding at the same time.--charliezap

I couldn't resist one filter shot from the series.They most know what their favorite seeds are.There's a lot to pick from.The seeds show up really well in the K5's posterization mode.--charliezap

Fine & sharp photos with very nice attention to detail. Posterization is not to my taste, but is indeed a matter of taste...

Nice photos with the 55-300. I don't think I've ever seen 3 Downies on a feeder at once. Usually at my feeders, each will scare any others off or wait until the feeder is free.
