You've captured a genuine moment. It's a nice street photo and the smiles on the women's faces are pleasing. My only suggestion would be to use a lower aperture if you can (maybe not possible on the 55-200 given the light?), so that the background textures are a little less prominent, especially the blue jeans in the lower right. Maybe ISO 100 would have allowed you to open up a bit more for a narrower DOF?

Yes, in effect the background is little prominent ... the light wasn't so good and i get clic very fast ... so that means i should take a moment more to see the picture before clic.
Thanks a lot for your opinion

If you wait for the light to change or a different effect upon the background the moment is lost. This is a spontaneous street shot and a very nice one indeed. Thanks for sharing and putting a smile on our faces. Welcome to PF, glad you joined us.

Bob has a good point. Sometimes it's better to just fire away than to fiddle with the controls and lose the moment. But we all have to be our own judges on that tradeoff.

Absolutely ... i think ... many opinions, many different suggests ... more opportunity for me to see the same pic in different ways.
My consideration on your opinion is : The light was the same in last hour ... i was looking for the special moment on the street ... so i could set my lens on lower aperture ... one hour before and ...

Just to echo what others have said - you did a great job capturing the moment. Wonderful expressive faces, fine colors, and story well told. Perhpas would have been even better if you had pre-planned the settings. But taking too much time to plan would probably have meant losing this great spontaneous moment.

Good moment captured. It is engaging and delightful. All the critiques above do apply and hard to get around when you could not have planned the moment. Nevertheless, that's what separates the good from the extraordinary.

Thanks ... i normally shot many pics during my travels ... i like to catch "the magic moment" on the street or in any other situation ... it's hard, and when i have 1 pic on 100 that tell me a story ... i'm satisfied, but i also think that i can improve ... all the time
