Yesterday was the first sunshine for what seems like months here in the South of England. I know that's not really true, but that's how it feels.
Since I love shadows I trekked up my favourite hill to find some. The trees there are arranged so that sunlight can come in from the side, perhaps being on top of the hill is the important thing.

Anyway, this is several fisheye shots stitched together to give a ludicrously wide FOV and resulting in a weird suction effect...

My friend, this is the most arresting, most mesmerizing photo I've seen in some time. This thing is electric! It's like the trees are animate creatures - wonderful!
