Shark!
Lens: 18-55 Camera: *ist DL Photo Location: Galveston, TX ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F4.5

I took this photo while testing my K-5 underwater in Galveston. Lol. Yeah, right...

Actually, this is a photo that I snapped back in 2006 at the Aquarium in Moody Gardens. This was during the first round of my "hobby". Sadly, I dropped my *ist DL and broke the LCD screen a few months later, and the camera would not turn on. At the time, I didn't have the disposable income to repair it or to buy a new camera, so I had to find a new adventure.
I'm now working on round 2, but looking back, I sure wish I would have had my Pentax to capture several moments in my son's life as well as many other events that I would have liked to have captured. Going forward, I fully intend to test the MTBF limit on the shutter of my K-5 as well as my next camera(s)...

Mike

That is one impressive shot there and shows perfectly the vicious teeth in those magnificent beasts, well done.

Thanks! It was pure luck to snap a shot with an open mouth through thick glass. Yes, very vicious teeth on one of Nature's most impressive predators.
