Posted By: simonkit, 02-24-2008, 03:23 PM

Had a wander along my favourite beach tonight & managed a few sunset shots, here's one of several

All feedback appreciated

Simon

I like the way the came out against the tower, but some of the landscape seem a little soft. Otherwise, the photo is beautiful.

A beautifully captured landscape (or perhaps I should say seascape) as always Simon. Nice contrasts of colour. A great composition though I wonder if it would be even better without quite as much foreground rock - I'm not sure.

Paul

PS: I think the alternative shot does work even better Simon. The image seems more balanced and also picks up the path to the lighthouse more.

Thanks for the comments...

I've changed the shot for another one I've just processed, a bit less foreground & better sky

I think its superb. I like the foreground, the path leads you to the lighthouse and then you notice the cracking backdrop of sea, mountains and sky. Perfect as is in my opinion

It's a photo my eye keeps finding interesting elements in, the longer I look.

Love the colours, too, those clouds are marvellous. Great capture at the perfect time.

Fantasic area, very nice capture. That is the type of setting that I could play with all day.

As everyone has said It's a wonderful shot and very well exposed with the soft light. Thanks for posting. I can see why it's a favourite spot!

Thanks again for the very generous comments...

Just for any "Film Buffs" this is actually the location for the quite recent Demi Moore film "Halflight" - set in Scotland but actually filmed on Anglesey & North Wales
