My 28-75 came in, but the weather...
Posted By: Igilligan, 02-24-2008, 07:11 PM

I posted these in another thread about this lens, but thought I would put them in the photo thread.

I got it, but it has been raining....... But you still got to shoot something right?...

The OOF areas look pretty good. And it is fairly sharp wide open... I have had a bit of an issue focusing some times at 28mm f2.8, I found if I zoom out and get focus and then zoom back I always get a better focus. I know that happens with some zooms and I hope I will figure out a better work around.

Nothing special here but thought I would post em up anyway. This seems like it will be a fun lens.

In fact it was so hard to pull the 105 off of the camera. But I had to just to put the tammy thru her paces. You know just to check and see if she was working right.

I hope the Tamron 28-75 will be more of a work horse than a fun lens... But indoor shots of the kids in existing light is 'fun' in itself.

Thanks for checkin' in on me.
You may have inspired me to use the Tamron more. When I first received it, I enjoyed it so much that I dedicated a gallery to it...

The Vivitar 105 and F*300 have been spending a lot more time mounted lately, however... perhaps it time to give the Tammy another spin

Bud, VERY nice gallery. Very inspirational. Now, if only the snow would go away! :-)
