Early Winter in the High Country
Lens: 50mm F1.8 Photo Location: Northern Colorado ISO: 100
Posted By: Colorado CJ, 02-13-2013, 07:51 PM

Here are a couple of photos taken two months ago in the early part of winter. Just processed these since I finally got Capture NX2 for my Nikon.

Work has kept me from doing much photography for the past few months. I hope to get back into the mountains next weekend for a much needed photography fix.

I always enjoy your photos... these are beautiful. When you do get back into the mountains you will probably feel very inspired after your unwanted break from photography.

Thanks Bob, and yeah, it was definitely cold. The wind was going at a pretty good clip, and up on that high exposed ridge, it didn't take long for me to collapse the tripod and get back to my car.

Thank you. I only have a couple more from that outing, but these were the best two.

I have MANY more, taken at other times in my Flickr.

Thank you Tessfully, I appreciate it.

Yeah, hopefully I'll be back up there tomorrow. I don't know though as I have relatives over from Minnesota.
