Well Tom, I have a ton more papers on my desk than you do. It's actually quite a frightening sight right now. I remember a couple years ago on another forum there was a thread where people posted their desks. I looked to see if I still had the shot I took up at smugmug but it is one of the few I deleted I guess. Mine was pretty dang scary looking.

I'd be the last to complain about a messy desk - mine is always a shambles. No drunken pals (lately) eaten me peanuts, I've got a dog for that!

No thought to pick up the dead soldiers, Tom? Makes you look like a lush! Just kiddin'!

Actually I find comfort in clutter. It takes an effort to be tidy whist I am in my 'nest'.

I read somewhere, by an astute photographer, that if you are taking pictures of your desk and coffee mug it's time to get out of the house! But I am sure we have all done it. I'd just be totally embarrassed to show my mess to the world. You're a brave man!

Thanks Jeff, I think I wouldnt have posted a picture of it pre tidy, that would have been embarassing. Im actually quite proud of it at the moment As for the dead soldiers (have to say ive never heard that term for it) they serve as a reminder that I must buy better lager

A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind or, someone having nothing to do - in your case I guess it is the latter.

Keswich it might be but the St Andrew certainly gets prominence.
