The tilt shift effect worked best on shot #2 with the bridge from far away.

The effect isn't as dramatic with the other shots and is distracting because of the inconsistent blur on the trees and poles really destroying the effect.

Fair comment. I was after something "less than dramatic" on most of these but your comment on inconsistent blur on trees and poles makes a lot of sense. These are things that usually stick up straight along where we expect a perpendicular plane of focus to actually be. I agree, looking at it again I have to admit it looks weird and distracting.
