It's 20 degs with the wind blowing 20-30 mph. This guy( red bellied woodpecker) was holding on for dear life 100ft away in the wetlands out back.I took the uv filter off and put the window down for this shot. The 2nd shot is with the K5's posterization filter.Get me on the plane with my red solo cups.---charliezap

Very nice work, Charlie! The bokeh and focus are really spot-on beautiful!

Not exactly balmy here today, Cap'n (though doubtless warmer than Saugus), but the weather folk tell us a warmup is coming this week. Hope you have a great trip!

Nice capture Charlie. Hope you are going far enough south in Florida. We just got back and it was cold in the central section.

I'm looking forward to Fl.It's a shame that I'm leaving my Bigma at home but on the other hand I don't want to be a slave to the camera.--charliezap

Hey Charlie - I like birds and love this shot of the Red-bellied Woodpecker. I keep looking at the branch in the background though - it reminds of a broken Gordy's wrist strap - do you think? Have a good time in Florida.
