Birds of a feather

The Animal Ark (a local large/abandoned/wild animal rescue organization) had its winter open house this weekend.







Red-tailed hawk


Peregrine falcon


Cheetah


Bobcat


Wolf

An excellent opportunity to photograph wild animals. I especially like to close up view of the raptor. My only comment is that cutting off the feet of the linx and wolf detract the beauty of the image.

You really captured the eyes of these critters (OK, the cheetah was asleep but you can't win them all.) Well done.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Instead of a fence, a large window separates the animals from the visitors. The feet are cut off because there is a wall surrounding the window. For the red-tailed hawk I use a Takumar (Bayonet) 2.5 135.
