Beautiful flowers - great shots. Personaly like the coloured tulip best but the B&W is neat, too.

That are two very nice photos Jennifer, I do like the B/W conversion and it is the best B/W flower phot that I have seen in a long time. Thanks for posting and take care,

Heinrich

Sure go ahead and remind the rest of mankind how we ought to be nice and thoughtful to our brides. I am a cad, a fool - I promise I'll stop by a florist on the way home tonight. Damn, I hate when other men raise the bar like this.

As Jeff indicated we need your husband to email us. He's slipping from the male handbook of secrets. He's supposed to notify the all of us before doing something like this so all the rest don't bad.

beautiful shots. the B&W is interesting but the 1st is very good. Great choice for the background.

Warm shot on #1. Good bokeh. What were you using as your background?

Sorry Jen, the B&W one doesn't really do it for me. Perhaps because the flower is such a spectacular yellow, it's beautiful. Number 1 is a very nice composition and congrats on the perfect choice of background colour and selection of depth of field. However my favourite is number 3, it superficially looks like a simple shot but I bet it wasn't, and it looks terrific. Seems to emphasise the warm colour mid-petal. Nice work!
