A spring bouquet
Lens: Da 50-135 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Pleasant Hill ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F3.5

I was killing time before my son's track meet this morning and there was this lovely tree in full spring bloom.

Thank you Julie. I think it is a flowering Pear. It may be a non-fruiting variety because of where it was planted though. Right in the middle of campus.

Beautiful flowers either way! (apple, pear, cherry, etc. don't grow here in southern Florida, so they always look exotic to me!)

Nicely captured, Dice. I believe it's a Bradford Pear blossom - the ones around here are starting to pop open as well. An encouraging sign of Spring

Yes spring fever is hitting. And in California, this is one of the first trees that shows off it beauty.

Thanks for comments and tree ID Paul. I'm still hoping for a little more rain before full springtime here. Our hills dry out so fast that I want to hold onto every moment of green I can.
