Woodpecker
Lens: Tamron 300 f2.8 AF Camera: K5 ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F6.7

Using the K5 at ISO 800 and the Tamron 300 F2.8 with Sigma 1.4X APO EX DG. This
is a good combination. I am very happy with image quality at higher ISOs.

What kind of a woodpecker is that? I have never seen one like it before. Great capture. That combo is certainly working for you.

This is a Female Hairy Woodpecker. Taken here in Western, OR.
I have a male and female coming in daily. They are Robin sized.
