3200 is nothing to sneeze at. The dog shots look great and the others just have slight graininess. Thanks for posting these. Just have to wait....................save my lunch money and lose some weight in the process and maybe by next Christmas the fatman will come down the chimney with a delightful surprise...

Boy Chris this is some nice work. I am wondering any PP work done here? That would be the tell tale sign for me. Meaning 3200 could look good with some great PP skills. You have those skills we have seen. Clarence, I am with you about giving up lunc for awhile. Even thought about challenging my self to if I lose 50 lbs I get the K20 or DA300. Figured this would be a win, win. Plus I may even be able to convince my wife it is a good idea

Lol, I couldn't believe it either. Now there is a balance in these images that help and that is a perfect exposure. If I underexpose the K20D images at this high ISO I can bring it back only about 1 stop before the noise really becomes out of control.

Well if you need one you can always fly out to Chicago and I'll have one at my camera store waiting for you

Hmmm, yes it does because I was there about 3 years ago and am still paying off loans

Thats the beauty of the K20D high ISO is instead of tons of color noise which destroys the IQ Pentax went for grain noise. The grain noise is pleasing and when printed looks perfect, more film like.
