Boathouse Row/Art Museum
Lens: Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 Camera: Pentax K-5 IIs Photo Location: Philadelphia, PA ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F22

This was taken at the base of the Philadelphia Waterworks looking out onto Boathouse Row.

I love the first one.

Are these night shots? Exif seems to say 121s for the first one and 57s for the first?

Like the first particularly.

Can't help but wonder, boathouse row in the background means launching boats right, with a bevy or two and whoosh your sideways over that weir.

The first one is really beautiful. Lovely colors enhanced by the slow shutter speed. Well done.

No, these shots were taken late afternoon in full daylight. I used an ND 1000x filter which allows me the long exposures in daylight.

Oh they row the other way!
Boathouse Row is the "home port" for rowers far and wide who come here each year to compete in the Regatta. Here is an interesting link on the subject.
