This was my second ever mountain trek and my first as a photo-hobbyist. Here are several photos:

Very nice series and the stream is a good shot as well. Next time you'll have to do some climbing and shoot down on the views.

@paden: The entire trip was basically a combination of a lot of greens and a lot of barren wasteland-like rocky areas. I especially like the sky in that second pic.

@thomasjmpark: It's Mount Pinatubo here in the Philippines. Site of the second largest volcanic eruption of the 20th century around 18 years ago. It's amazing to see that it looks like this now.

@Peter Zack: Yeah, it's too bad there wasn't a spot where I could take a photo looking down on the scenery. I also didn't have a wide-angle lens at the time. All I had (because it was all I owned) was my 40/2.8 ltd. I just made the most of what I had. Although now I have me a Sigma 10-20, so the next time I go out on a trip like this, I'm going to go UWA-crazy

I actually made a panorama of the crater lake (I think I posted this on another thread somewhere on this forum). This is made up of four shots I took, and then I just stitched them up using autostitch:

^ Thanks The entire trek was a grueling 2-3 hours up and then 2-3 hours down the mountain, but it was well worth it. I love nature photography.
