Snow Flake
Lens: Sigma 105mm F2.8 Macro Camera: k-5 Photo Location: Woods of New Kensington
Posted By: no694terry, 03-03-2013, 01:33 PM

I was walking through the woods hoping to find some deer, wheni came across a large down tree that i had to climb over. It had moss on it that was accumilating some snow flakes. Very small snow flakes and I was cold a shaky.

Interesting juxtaposition of green plants and snow flakes. And the selective DoF adds another point of contrast. Pretty good

I shifted more towards aperture priority since i got the K-5 rather the full manual when i had the k-20. Iso 400, F3.5, 180/s. If i could repeat the shot which i would like to, i would probably have used went to f8 and used a flash. but i wasnt out there to do macros it just happened and i kinda like to shot even though i feel it could have been better. I been getting down on myself a lot lately because of i think i could have done it better if i took my time.
