Misc Out with the Old

I'm doing a series on disappearing technologies and here is one image that I shot this weekend.

and then I tried a b/w as well, but I think I prefer the color version...

Criticism and suggestions are always welcome.

I like it, but IMO the "TRASH" sign detracts from the image ... also it's blasphemous, because I think that I saw a Pentax body ...

I agree, it seems to make the image somewhat over-posed for my liking (i'm aware that it's a 100% posed image though)

It's obvious to the viewer that the cameras are in a bin, there's no need to tell them the obvious.

Julie - what a clever idea and shot. Certainly a great photographic metaphor for technical change and the remains left behind.

I prefer the color version also. What a great idea you have. Can't wait to see more of what I hope will be a series.
