Tamron 28-75mm Test Photos

My Tamron 28-75 f2.8 arrived in the mail yesterday (Thanks Greg!)

I read a few poor reviews and some very good reviews, this lens is exceptional for the price, quick AF, minimal hunting (a little is expected) in low-light environment, nice sharp images.

Here is a few from out and about in my garden. Taken with K100D Super

ISO 200, f/2.8, 1/350th

ISO 200, f/4, 1/180th

ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/60th

Don't mind my lack of centering lol

Ahhhh, such a good lens. I had one as my staple lens for quite some time, but was replaced with the DA* 16-50.

It's captured nice colours on that flower.

How does the 16-50 compare to the Tamron? Is it in a class of its own?

The 28-75 is a great lens, but its a little narrow.. Also looking for a wider lens such as the 16-50
