You should be pleased - it's quite nice. Good textures, nice colors, sharp focus - I like it too.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice promo for the Tamron. It's in good hands, of course.

Looks tack sharp Tess . I am thinking of that lens or the Sigma ....giving up on the DA* 16-50 , just has not performed for me (it was good for a while but two repairs later just not the same).

I have one of those as well - brought it in for repair just before we left - came back worked flawlessly for about a week - back to manual .....going to see if that last $300 repair has any warranty ....not liking my changes so if not - off to Tamron or Sigma we go ......

Thanks Dave... I had wanted a good wide angle lens for a long time and I know Norman did a pile of work researching before he got this for me for christmas. It is a very sharp lens and what I like most is I can close focus, which is something I do all the time. On wide angle landscapes it rocks too. A couple of times I saw some purple fringing but I was able to remove it with ease unlike with older lens that have the issue. Here is a fun wide angle I did a couple of weeks ago... we went snowshoeing with friends.

Our friend Dave doesn't like this photo... because he is insignificant!
