Another UFO - why me ?
Posted By: old4570, 03-06-2013, 06:32 PM

Hmmm , ok , now I was shooting the blue screen of death again [ checking for dust as Im trying to work out a dust removal system that works for me ]

and look what snuck into the blue screen ... Ok thats no dust .. there is a topside and a underside , topside is lit up by sunlight and shadow underneath ..

This is the clearest image so far of what ever is flying over Melbourne

UFB's , yeah got plenty of those - problem is they look like Birds ,,, Problem is , when it dont look like a bird , or anything else ...
Also they move very slowly - they tend to stay in shot for quite a while , more so when there further away ..
UFO's how ever , might show up in one shot and no other , because there in and out of frame rather quickly ( think shutter speed quick ) which is why we most likely see nothing when looking up .. ( To fast for the optic nerve )
Hence , they tend to show up in some photos or video's .. With so many hoaxes out there , and people being some what dismissive ( show me the money )
Anyhow , I look forward to anyone identifying said object .. And that is not a bird , if anyone wants the full sized image , just let me know ..

Here is my version of UFO
It is difference than most images here. it is not a dark spot in the sky, but it is a bright object in a cloudy early evening sky. I only have a chance to snap two images before it fly behind the tick cloud.
I was waiting for a bus, look up to the sky hope that it won't rain before the bus arrive, then I see the bright object fly out of one side of the cloud. I told my sister to see it then I start point my camera and shoot the photos. It could be a meteorite entering earth atmosphere but it produce no tail.

Ive seen lots and lots of strange stuff by looking up .. Driving on the Hume highway , and about 10 minutes back from Albury there was a silver orb in the sky , quite visible and good detail though it was rather high in the sky ( does that mean it was big ) , we had binoculars but no camera .. What was strange , well it was flying against the prevailing wind , or opposite direction to the clouds around it .. It was not flopping about in the breeze , but holding a very steady course .....

Yeah , my kingdom for a camera right then and there .. ( Which is why I want a DSLR in the car - or car camera ( DSLR ) ) Anyhow , it was no weather balloon , WTH it was ???? we watched for several minutes till it vanished through the clouds .

I'm hearing you, old4570. Just this afternoon I was trying to take a photo of the sky out the back of my place, and when I viewed the shot on the computer,
this is what I found....

I reckon they're everywhere.

Regards

Well , I went outside today as well .. Was getting a little stir crazy as I dont enjoy hot weather , so thought , hmmmm , DSLR's are calling out to me to take some snaps .. Its hot outside so I thought a few quick snaps and back inside ...

Yeah , you know the punch line .....

What wonderful clouds , so float'y

And what do you know .... Uninvited guests ...

Better view - Thanks to K5 , more MP's

Ive included the entire series of pictures I took .. 2nd image has the anomaly , and no others ... K5 + Sigma 28-105 @ 105mm + Crop factor ( 35mm lens )
