Can't believe nobody else went to the air show

I haven't had a chance to PP all yet, I got some sort of a bug which has laid me flat for a few days

any way, here's a few of my shots, ....my old Sigma lens has developed a AF fault so had to shoot manual so a lot of missed shots, probably 50%

but I compensated by taking heaps of shots. when I get through them all I'll post over in the Aviation Group.

thanks EM, yeah great to get into a bit of Photography again, been so busy with other things - It was a good day for sure, a bit too long to be out in that heat all day though, I must be getting old

It's on the to do list. Snuck up on me this year. Went to see the vintage stuff at Jamestown last spring and posted a few shots on the aviation group. But that fast jet stuff is just awesome.

well southlander 2 years to plan for the next one, I've been to them all but then Avalon is only a hour away.

Nice shots. They always look good going up, but when they're heading down with smoke pouring from the tail....not so good.

thank you Bob, the day was good but after 5hrs of it I was wishing it was a bit cooler, also we had the moon in the background til about 2 pm, I was trying hard to get a plane & the moon in the frame

, I got one shot only but .... er, not a very good shot of a plane
