City Hall area of Pasadena

A break in a model shoot.

The courtyard is being worked on.

At the square (which is round) in front of City Hall are these statues of athletes Jackie and Mack Robinson.

A few blocks away is "old Pasadena", which has lots of brick, restaurants and shops.

Christensen Alley is full of murals.

Bonham Alley is not so colorful.

Monument to the first public library (1890-1927).

The pavilion.

Memorials to Vietnam and Civil War vets, and a Canon shooter.

MetroRail station.

Armory Center for the Arts.

Therapy.

Signs.

Under construction.

The Castle Green hotel, built 1897, is now condos.

The annual Rose Parade passes through the area.

Oh, my.

Nice set of shots - looks like a great place to visit. Enjoyed the artistic graffiti!

Pasadena is sure a wonderful old city, great history but they don't need some of those murals. You got some great framing shots and colors, really enjoyed the visit Kyle.

I will have to look up some history - I know there is the famous Pasadena Playhouse where a few famous actors have started out.

That was a fun walk through. It reminds me that I really need to get out there again soon. Haven't been since a day at the Huntington Library about 7-8 years ago. Downtown Pasadena is a great place to hang out for an afternoon.
