Great picture, I see in the details that you were at 230mm focal length, only 1/200 of a sec shutter speed, so I'd like to know if you made this picture handheld?

Wow! red on green. Just great. I've never seen this particular critter either, but I'm a west coast dude...no cardinals here. If you do see one, he's lost.

I'm with you There, I'm west coast also. Its kind of strange, they have them in Hawaii. All red ones and this particular species is all over Hawaii. They like to hang out on the ground, so it was fun to capture this little guy in the tree.
