Are they friendly?

I was out front in the warm sun reading and this guy made me back off and retreat to the rear of the garage. I got the camera out and he stuck around for 15 minutes like he owned the place. Are they friendly to approach?--charliezap

This is the perfect picture which makes my day!!
Just so weird to see the egret coming so close and even daring to enter the garage! Fascinating!

Great job !

No idea Charlie, but that last shot is awesome. I wouldn't get too close, he might peck your eye out though.

I don't know either. Egrets around here always seem skittish and don't allow you to get close. Anyway, that last shot is fantastic.

These guys are vicious! They are known for sneaking into garages and attacking anyone they find there. The attacks don't leave physical marks but they induce an intense craving for cold alcoholic beverages and a form of sleeping sickness characterized by the victim nodding off in front of a tv in the afternoon. The only known treatment is sex.

If this weren't bad enough, these &^*%$# persuade local cops to give you a ticket simply because you didn't want to deface the front of your car with an unnecessary license plate . The nerve of these guys!

Sorry, Capn, for the foolishness on your thread, but I couldn't help myself. The third shot is, indeed, remarkable. You should be truly proud of that one.
