The FA 31mm also makes a great portrait lens at times.

Beautiful little fellow with a great smile !

Nunavut ... a place where I, one day, would love to "visit" .
It is so far North that one wonders how to get there in the first place (joke).

Great shot with the 31mm and K5.

Cheers!

Thanks (Merci?) Just head north from Kujuak on the north shore of Quebec. You can't miss it. (If you do, you're in serious trouble)

Great shot from a superb lens. A whole new generation of Leaf Nation alive and well in Nunavut!

Yeah ... well, I did just check the possible way(s) to get there, along with a couple of other options for the Far North: Kuujjuaq is one of them, and the cost is astronomical! I was considering that place for a summer photo trip to get to the nesting Snowy Owls but the budget will not allow it ... too bad.

I also have a friend working in Iqualuit, so I think you are just west of that?

Maybe one day budget will make this happen.

BTW ... "merci" is just fine! Yes, I'm totally Frenchie!

Cheers!

There are snowies around here but you might have better luck over in the Kitikmeot/Kivalliq (Cambridge Bay/Rankin).
