Birds and Bees
Lens: Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 II Macro HSM Camera: K-7

A few shots from this morning's walk along a path I have not trodden for many years.

Rainbow Lorikeet, one of a pair nesting in the hollow of a River Reg Gum. I waited for a long time to catch both together to no avail. Next week perhaps.

Bees doing a job in a Grevillea

One of a flock of wild duck attracted by a young couple tossing bread

What a varied collection of birds. Would love to walk that path with you someday.

What beautiful bird captures, would love to see these in the wild instead of the zoo.

If you could tear yourself away from your beautiful canyons, you would be most welcome.

You would be welcome of course. Cee Cee's favourite walk is not far away either.

We used to take the boys to a playground nearby when they were little. It was good to go back and have a look around.

nice captures Bruce, its good when a walk can provide variety like this, you've done well! ... I must admit I've been pretty busy lately and not able to get out much but the last few times I've been out have been pretty unproductive , .... but a least the lorikeets are still doping in from time to time .
cheers
