Nature Birds and Bees

A few shots from this morning's walk along a path I have not trodden for many years.

Rainbow Lorikeet, one of a pair nesting in the hollow of a River Reg Gum. I waited for a long time to catch both together to no avail. Next week perhaps.

We used to take the boys to a playground nearby when they were little. It was good to go back and have a look around.

nice captures Bruce, its good when a walk can provide variety like this, you've done well! ... I must admit I've been pretty busy lately and not able to get out much but the last few times I've been out have been pretty unproductive

, .... but a least the lorikeets are still doping in from time to time
