Nice! If you cropped it from the bottom and thus got rid of the branches you might be able to get away with the illusion of a lake!

Ole, Good idea but better yet clone the branches from the bottom and then the viewer will see a slight difference. It's a great shot and I like the process Ed. Nicely done. If I may suggest a little trick to this, also make the "water" section slightly darker. Refelcting water always absorbs some of the light from the sky.

I had to laugh about the "has been" K10D. I'm sort of on the fence about this new K20D. I have a fair amount of paid work lined up for this year and it certainly is a nice camera from what we've seen but the K10D is no slouch and I think I'll wait a bit. But I'm gettting a serious case of GAS thinking about it...

Great shot Charlie!!

This a nice shot.. I am with Ole and Peter about the cropping or cloning of the branches.. This wouls also make a good entry into the weekly challenge... the theme is reflection and you have done a great job with it!!!

I wish I had barren brown corn fields near me instead of a street full of houses and cars (and mountains of freakin' snow!)

Nice reflection off the water.
